STUBBORN HEART is back! New venue! Free admission!Exciting news: On Friday, March 28th, the STUBBORN HEART Rare Soul Club takes off again to give you the very best in 1960s R&B and Northern Soul!
The long overdue re-start takes place at the newly renovated basement of the bar/restaurant Rosetta´s, located on one of Stockholm´s main islands, Södermalm. A unique location that – in addition to its excellent selection of drinks and food – perfectly captures the spirit of a New York neighborhood hang-out from the 1960/70s.
STUBBORN HEART is dedicated to the countless independent record labels all over the USA which tried to break through like Motown, Chess or Atlantic Records. To all the Afro-American artists who tried to reach fame by condensing their wishes, hopes and desires on a little piece of vinyl. STUBBORN HEART cherishes them by playing their songs on the original 7-inch-records. Black pearls with irresistible basslines, blasting brass sections, honest shouters and bittersweet chanteuses – meant to make your hips shake and feet move.
