The Southland Astronomical Society has invited Stu Parker a noted astronomer and astrophotographer from Oxford New Zealand to talk about his process, the distances we can see with a telescope and his work. Stu is also bringing some of his equipment down as well. If the weather holds we will have equipment set up and Stu would hopefully like to do a live demo as well.More details to come. Location will be the Oreti Sands Club Rooms (254 Links Road, Sandy Point) .
