Saturday Paintout at Strouds Run State Park. The autumn color should be in swing. The state park includes may natural areas that make great painting locations. Dow Lake with the autumn foliage reflected in the water makes for a great subject.
There is a group campground area very near the lake that is quite lovely and very quiet. If anyone is interested in camping as a group contact me.
There are many hiking trails and mountain biking trails. The lake also offers a kayak rental.
Sunday Paintout: we may explore further towards the city of Athens or stay near the lake. There are great views of the Hocking river from the bike path that runs next to the river. Athens has many quirky street scenes.
