When we look at belonging, we cannot help but explore the ground beneath our feet.What does PLACE mean to our sense of who we are, our sense of safety, our sense of ourselves?
We have 3 incredible guest speakers for this session:
- Staff from The Long Table, who are hosting this event explore place and community
- Rhia Davenport from Boss Morris - place-based artists, rejuvenating a tradtional form of celebrating the land through dance, poetry and procession
- Ben Challis who is involved with developments at The Heavens gives his vision for place in Stroud
No need to book - just come along. You will be able to purchase light refreshments such as drinks, pastries and sausage rolls.
Children are welcome. We aim to make the event as accessible as possible. You are welcome to bring a well-behaved dog on a lead. You are welcome to knit, doodle, stim and bring blankets / cushions if you'd like to feel cosy. We welcome people from all backgrounds, with different perspectives, experiences and identities. We do not tolerate rudeness or discrimination of any kind.
