Stronger Together: Sickle Cell Wellness & Transition Fair is a family-friendly, community-centered event dedicated to empowering individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease. Hosted by The Ruby Ball Foundation in partnership with ASH RC and leading healthcare providers from Children's National, Inova, Kaiser Permanente, and VCU Health. Supported by DMV Sickle Cell Consortium, Top Ladies of Distinction, and Genetix. The fair combines wellness, education, and community support in a fun and interactive setting. Attendees will enjoy engaging activities like a group workout led by Mr. WeFit, cooking demo, and art therapy led by Dunnie the Artist, along with informative breakout sessions on mental health, transitioning to adult care, and new treatment advancements. Join us as we close out the year celebrating resilience, connection, and the power of being stronger together.
