Join us for our second hands-on intensive workshop experience where you'll learn core techniques for tying and connecting with others through the art of rope bondage. Rhyse Curtis will use his 13 years of experience to guide you through various knots, ties, and safety measures to deepen your understanding and skills. Refreshing some of the skills from the October 2025 workshop, we'll also practice new ties! We'll move through a full array of tying techniques and end with a body harness bind that brings together all the skills you've learned and prepares you to take them out of the classroom and apply them in intimate space with your partner. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your rope skills and connect with others in a safe and inclusive environment. Folks of all body types and abilities are encouraged to attend. Ties will be modeled both on male-presenting and female-presenting bodies. We are a body positive space, and we ask that genitals remain covered during the workshops and lab time to ensure the comfort of all attendees.

Please note, you MUST be 18 years old or older to attend this event.

What You'll Need:

• Water! Hydration is essential for a day of learning.
• A snack or two to keep your bloodsugar up and your brain focused (lunch is provided with registration.)
• The following lengths of rope in your choice of material:

4 x 30 ft lengths

4 x 15 ft lengths

• A towel, blanket, or yoga mat to keep between your body and the venue floor. (The venue floors are concrete and have some rough edges, so bring something to give you some added comfort and keep your bare body bits safe!)
• Comfortable, flexible clothing - think sweats and a t-shirt. Participants are welcome to strip down to boxers/briefs during the workshops! It's also wise to dress in layers as rope play can sometimes work up a sweat but then cause the body to cool quickly afterwards.

White braided cotton rope kits are available for pre-purchase on the ticketing page and will be available for pick-up at registration.

Info: Arrive at the venue and check-in for the event. You'll also be able to pick-up a rope kit at this time if you pre-order one.

Info: All attendees are expected to be present for this workshop! In our opening circle, we'll discuss some basic safety/consent and rope etiquette and get paired up with partners if we came alone. All attendees are encouraged to practice both binding and being bound! Knowing what safe rope feels like on the body is just as important for the bunny as it is for the rigger.

Info: During this workshop, we'll practice tension management - a core element of Shibari as connective, intimate practice. We'll also experience the ways in which tension in our rope creates connection between ourself and our partner to heighten intimacy and encourage presence in the moment through the application of rope-to-body in a decorative harness based around the Lark's Head "knot."

Info: Lunch will be provided! The price of food is included in your registration fee. We will provide Vegetarian and Omnivore options from King David's, an amazing local Mediterranean restaurant.

Info: What's the difference between a knot, a hitch, and a bend? We'll answer this and many more questions during this workshop where you'll learn a series of single column ties and the techniques to expand them to double column ties!

Info: This workshop will combine every skill you've learned throughout the day into a full-body bind that serves well for movement constriction, intimate interactions, and gaining the all-important leverage while connecting deeply with your partner. We'll work through variations on the pose based on the abilities of various bodies!
