biomechanics Researcher & Exercise Scientist coach Mel Macaulay from Strong Stable Seat has a unique ability to understand the challenges of personal postural issues & how they affect the horse/rider combination.
With a background in sports performance, rehabilitation, weight loss & assisting people create healthy lifestyles, Mel utilises a wholistic approach for a lasting, well rounded outcome.
Competing in the show ring has left her with a keen eye for detail & a desire to always fine tune & improve. This led to the creation of rider specific exercises to assist with her own postural imbalances which have now been updated & expanded & she's sharing with you!
As an experienced educator, Mel has taught, coached & assessed personal trainers. She makes the mundane motivating & will provide you with easy to follow simple steps to guide you towards a strong, stable seat.

What's Included?
- DAY 1 will involve a static posture assessment, both mounted and unmounted! See how your posture traits affect your balance and position!
- DAY 2 will look at dynamic posture assessments, both mounted and unmounted! See what happens when you start to move, identify compensation patterns and learn about what happens through your body while riding.
PLUS!!!
- option to camp overnight with toilet, shower and tea room facilities!
- EXERCISE BALL included! We'll be using exercise balls sourced by Mel that you take home to keep working on your posture and position AFTER the clinic!
