About this Event
Join us for the Strong Hearts, Strong Futures Health & Wealth Expo, a community-centered event dedicated to improving heart health, financial stability, and generational wellness. This event is intentionally held in February to recognize American Heart Month and Black History Month, highlighting the importance of cardiovascular health and addressing the disproportionate impact of heart disease within African American communities.
Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the United States, and African Americans experience higher rates of hypertension, heart disease, and stroke due to health disparities, chronic stress, and limited access to preventive care. This Expo is designed to provide education, resources, and access to support that promote long-term health and well-being.
The event is presented by Luxe Wellness and Aesthetics, featuring health education, screenings, and preventive resources. The Wealth Empowerment portion, co-organized by Lianna Goudeau, Realtor, focuses on homeownership readiness, financial literacy, and estate planning - essential tools for building generational wealth, reducing stress, and strengthening overall community health.
Event Leadership:
The Health & Wealth Expo is led by Josephine Edwards, FNP-C, Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Owner of Luxe Wellness and Aesthetics, ensuring the event is grounded in evidence-based care, prevention, and community health education.
Together, health and wealth go hand in hand. This Expo brings both together to empower individuals and families to take control of their future.
