About this Event
You know your female body has changed, somewhere in your late 30s or early 40s. But what kinds of workouts should you be doing now? If you're familiar with strength training or brand new to the gym, join Dr. Jessica Campbell, chiropractor and strength trainer, for this all-levels introduction to workouts for women in perimenopause and menopause. Join us on Sunday, October 12 from 3-5pm at 785 Athletics in Manhattan, KS.
In this two hour workshop, we will learn about why strength training is uniquely important for women as we get older, as well as key exercise principles that can help you succeed in health, even with limited time. We will also get hands-on in this workshop practical by taking our learning right into the gym, where you will learn the basics of bodyweight exercises, dumbbell, kettlebell and barbell, all with the midlife women's body in mind.
About Dr. Jessica: Dr. Jessica has firsthand experience with the healing powers of chiropractic led her to pursue it as a career; she graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College and opened her own practice, Flint Hills Family Chiropractic, in 2016.
