Excluding skin cancers, colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer diagnosed in the United States.In conjunction with the American Cancer Society and the Missouri Cancer Consortium, Saint Francis Healthcare System will host a Strollin’ Through the Colon walk on Saturday, March 29 at 9 am. Funds raised through registration will benefit the CancerCare Fund through the Saint Francis Foundation, which helps cancer patients in need with nutritional supplements, medicine, transportation and lodging, as well as increases access to free cancer screenings.
The event will consist of a one-mile walk around the Medical Center campus, beginning at the Saint Francis Cancer Institute (Entrance 6).
