Our April event brings us our first "Stripped Session" - featuring London's industrial synthpop duo PalindronesPalindrones is an electronic music duo from London, UK. They play dreamy, Industrial Synthpop, crafting immersive musical landscapes that mix pounding beats and blistering synth drones with a lush, hypnotic ambience, subtle pop melodies and haunting, esoteric lyrics, drawing the listener into a dream-like reverie. Palindrones was born in the London DIY punk scene, an ethos they carry into their frenetic live shows, evoking the energy of a rock gig and the pulse of a euphoric trance club. A dreamlike journey through an apocalyptic, liminal tundra, under the eye of ancient, Eldritch Gods.
Support comes from the Jan Doyle Band, in full goth mode (rescheduled appearance from december 2024)
This is all alongside our usual-unusual mix of post punk, industrial, Goth rock, deathrock, EBM, New Wave, Coldwave, Darkwave, Neue Deutsche Hart, and various other alternative musical goodies. From the vault, hot off the press or anywhere inbetween, of course your requests are very welcome.
The Black Bull is on Mulgrave Terrace right across the dual carriageway from Gateshead Interchange, making it accessible to people from a multitude of areas around the north east (Mileage may vary subject to public transport - the hub's on the doorstep at least) and the drinks choices include a range of cask, keg and bottled beers, Ciders, Wines, Soft drinks both hot and cold. something for every one of your 5 senses, and quite possibly your sixth as well.
