About this Event
Strides of Support for Alopecia Areata
Join us for Strides of Support for Alopecia Areata, the first-ever national fundraising and awareness walk hosted by the Canadian Alopecia Areata Foundation (CANAAF)! Taking place on Sunday, September 28, 2025, in Burlington (ON), Montreal (QC), Halifax (NS), and Richmond (BC), this event brings together individuals, families, and communities in a united stride of support for those affected by alopecia areata—a chronic autoimmune condition that causes hair loss on the scalp, face, and body. Help us to raise critical funds for support programs, advocacy efforts, and educational initiatives, while also increasing visibility and understanding of this often misunderstood condition. Whether you're walking to support a loved one, raise awareness, or share your own journey, every step helps break stigma and build community.
