Welcome to the Stride with Pride Stroll, Wolverhampton's most sassy and inclusive walking group! Calling all fabulous LGBT+ folks and their fierce allies. We gather in the glorious surroundings of Wolverhampton's West Park, where the sun shines on our fabulousness and the trees sway in admiration of our confidence.
Picture this: a group of radiant individuals, striding confidently through the park, with an aura of sass and pride that would make The Vivienne herself gag. Our fabulous Flamingo Stroll is the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded people who embrace diversity and celebrate the beauty of the LGBTQ+ community.
Now, let's talk about the "gentle" part of this fabulous affair. We're all about inclusivity and making everyone feel comfortable, so our pace is as gentle as a butterfly's wing fluttering on a summer breeze. We understand that not everyone is a marathon runner or a fitness fanatic, so our goal is to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience for all.
All walks are normally flat and accessible. Join us at 10:45am (by the bandstand) to set off promptly at 11am, you are welcome to walk for 30 minutes, 1 hour or 1.5 hours, do as much as you feel -at your own pace.
Things we advise
- Wear weather appropriate clothes and shoes
- Bring an umbrella (just in case!)
- Bring a drink
- Bring any required Medic*tion (inhalers, antihistamines, epipens etc) this will be your responsibility to carry and administer.
Attendees walk at their own risk.
Over 18's only unless accompanied by an adult.

Wolverhampton LGBT+ take seriously the safety and comfort of all volunteers and participants. We, as a charity, have the right to cancel tickets and deny attendance if it is found that individuals are disruptive to events or upsetting/offending others by way of language or behaviour.
