Stress Relief Yoga, Sound Healing, & Flower Ceremony on October 30, 2024, 6-8:30pm
Join Jennifer and Yolanda for this healing and relaxing program to help you unwind and let go. The perfect way to transition into the holiday season and give your body needed rest.
First, Yolanda will offer a flower ceremony, where she asks for you to bring one flower to share as part of the practice. In the ceremony, we will create a group intention while co-creating a group mandala with the flowers. Next, Jennifer will feature some gentle yoga stretching, joints and glands exercises, and poses (asanas) before embarking on a 61-point meditation (usually a part of yoga nidra to get a sample of this deeply grounding practice). Then, Yolanda will provide a sound healing using various instruments: crystal and singing bowls, koshi chimes, bells, flutes, hand and ocean drums. To conclude the evening, we will gather in community to share about the experience while we sip on tea; silence is an option too.
Our aim is for you to walk away embodied, centered, and at peace. This type of energy work and practices have the potential to reset the nervous system to function more effectively, so that you can have a good night’s sleep and wonderful start to your next day.
Please bring a flower, yoga mat, yoga props you typically use, blankets to use for under your knees and to cover up, and pillows to use under your head and/or knees. We want you to be comfortable especially because we will be in relaxation pose for a good portion of the event.
Personal Investment is $45 per person, which includes a $5 donation split between a local food bank and Anderson Humane Wildlife Center (formerly the Fox Valley Wildlife Center), our healing practices, community, and tea during our sharing space at the end.

Location Details: Nazareth Spirituality Center, 717 N Batavia Avenue, Batavia, IL 60510. Enter off of IL-31 at first entrance into the one-way road, drive toward the back of the property, and you will find us in the retreat house.
Meet Your Event Hosts:
Jennifer Falbo-Negron has a love of learning. She works as a licensed counselor (LCPC), yoga and meditation teacher (ERYT-500), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Transforming Touch Practitioner, ANFT-certified forest therapy guide, and offers nutrition counseling. Jennifer enjoys providing personal sessions as well as different classes and events to share her gifts with others for their ultimate healing.

Yolanda has been practicing sound therapy for over 25 years. She’s here to support the Awakening of our planet by teaching simple tools, like self-care practice, to facilitate opening the heart and heal physical and emotional related trauma.
Yolanda has been mentored by teachers from India, Perú and U.S. where she traveled to expand her awareness in retreats in support of global Spiritual Communities She travels with her powerful instruments and healing singing voice throughout the world.
