Peoria CPUSA is proud to announce that our Club Conference will be held at the Main Branch Library, LL2 Auditorium this year on Saturday, October 4th at 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Working people around the world have always sought a future without war, exploitation, inequality, and poverty. A future based on working class democracy, peace, justice, equality, cooperation, and meeting human needs is under threat.
As the fascist danger grows in the U.S., a new level of struggle is taking shape. This year we have watched the far right chip away at the core principles of our democracy, but we have also seen countless people come together in mass movements against these tyrannies. Only the power of the working class can defeat the MAGA movement and ruling class power. Strengthening resistance and democracy is essential to defeat the far right, both nationally and locally.
With our club conference we seek to build unity around progressive and working class forces and build toward a future where working class visions of the future are not in constant peril. Strengthen Resistance, Strengthen Democracy!
This Club Conference is a rallying call for resistance among all democratic forces within Peoria. With these aims in mind, your participation is needed!
