About the presenter: Kent Dredge
As an active triathlete for over 25 years, including more than 30 Ironman finishes, Kent possesses an excellent understanding of the training demands required of the sport.
Kent has extensive experience as a physical preparation coach at the South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) since 2011. Having worked with a variety of sports including Athletics, Sailing, Trampoline, Squash, Badminton, Diving, Swimming, Volleyball, Kayak and Water Polo and supported a number of world championship, Olympic and Paralympic representatives.
He also currently prepares the strength programs for 2024 Paralympian athletes Tom Goodman (Triathlon) and Sam Von Einem (2 x Silver Medalist, Para Table Tennis).
Kent holds a Graduate Certificate of Exercise Science (Strength and Conditioning), Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement & Health studies) and is currently completing his Master of Research (on this topic) at UniSA. Additionally, he also holds national coaching accreditations as an ASCA Professional Level 2 Strength and Conditioning Coach, Triathlon Australia Development Coach and Level 3 Performance Recreational Running Coach.
