About this Event
This Strength & Yin Yoga session blends active Yang-style yoga and light-weight resistance training with passive, long-held Yin stretches to enhance muscle strength, endurance, and flexibility. The first half features a dynamic flow for muscle building, balance and calorie burn, while the second half uses 3–5 minute holds to target deep connective tissues, promoting relaxation.
Designed to be a holistic mind-body workout, this class provides a perfect blend of yoga to balance your internal energy, increase circulation, boost your metabolism, and calm the nervous system, as well as help increas muscle strength and bone density.
Modifications will be offered and students are encouraged to work at their own levels.
