Our July book will be Why Woo-Woo Works: The Surprising Science Behind Meditation, Reiki, Crystals and Other Alternative Practices by David R. Hamilton, Ph.D. What happens when an expert in organic chemistry, accustomed to developing pharmaceuticals, starts researching the "how" of traditional healing systems? During this two-hour session we will discuss the author's findings, participants' thoughts on the author's manner of addressing the topic, and additional resources for those who wish to take a deeper dive into the science behind the woo-woo.
