Want to learn how to prune trees for proper form, safe clearance and correcting past mistakes? Join our street tree pruning event on Saturday January 10 at 10am in Anneslie. Boy Scout Troop 729 and the Anneslie Greening Committee are participating this event. We primarily use hand and pole saws and loppers. Our focus is on street trees with permission of the homeowner.Our event begins with a tutorial for teaching proper pruning technique. Different levels of physical fitness can be accommodated ranging from wrangling a long pole saw to using hand clippers. Participants should bring garden gloves & water. Please wear protective eye-wear & sunscreen.
We usually work for two to three hours. Come for the tutorial and stay as long as you are able.
