About this Event
There are over 870,000 trees in NYC, and we want to help communities take care of them! With funding from MillerKnoll Foundation, we're hosting a second, more in depth tree care workshop to support existing community groups in regularly caring for their neighborhood trees and to help individuals or new groups form and do this work. All interested are welcome to join for this event. You do not need to have attended our street tree care workshop 101 to participate in this event!
In Workshop II you will learn about year-round street tree care, a step-by-step process of hosting a street tree care event in your neighborhood, what to plant in your tree bed, types of tools, and more!
