We’re excited to share that we’ll be sponsoring the upcoming Street Smart Ohio event! This free program is presented by the Ohio High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA). The event will take place on Friday, October 10th, from 12:00 PM to 4:15 PM at OSU Marion Campus, Guthery Room in Maynard Hall, located at 1465 Mt. Vernon Avenue, Marion, OH 43302.Joining the event will be Michael Powell and Shawn Bain. Sargent Michael N. Powell served with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office for over 32 years; Captain Shawn Bain retired after serving over 29 years with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
The target audience will be parents, teachers, social workers, pastors, youth leaders, community partners, and other adults with a connection to children.
Pending 4 CEUs from the following Boards:
- Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board
- Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board
