The Stockport Music Story presents Strawberry Studios Forever, a celebration concert of the legendary music recorded at Strawberry Recording Studios where many of Manchester’s iconic bands made their early recordings, here in Stockport.
Please join us for an evening of classic tracks by Joy Division, New Order, The Smiths, Buzzcocks, The Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets, The Charlatans and of course 10cc, performed by a host of up and coming young musicians collaborating with legendary names including Peter Hook, Clint Boon and Andy Couzens, founder member of The Stone Roses. There will be more exciting announcements to come.
We're excited to bring you a 'never-to-be-forgotten' evening of music and chat celebrating the amazing contribution that Strawberry Studios made to music. The concert will also showcase some of the artists featured on our 'Strawberry Studios Forever' vinyl album and will be the official 'launch' event.
