We are excited to announce that we have invited Bill and Athena Steen to the farm to teach a workshop on straw bale building!

Straw bale building is an alternative building technique that uses earth friendly materials such as straw bales and clay. This type of construction is a sustainable choice for our warm desert climate because of insulation properties, easily sourced building materials and low overall building costs. We are inviting 12 participants to come and learn the techniques of straw bale building and see it in action.
This is a three day session - from about 8 to 5 each day. Food will be available.
