Did you know you can grow food in straw bales? Join us and Master Gardener, Cris Phillips and learn all about unique and easy method of gardening. Cris is passionate and very knowledgable, with years of experience working with this form of gardenng. Details: FREE to attend & if you would like to bring home a seasoned bale for growing there are (2) options:
1. BYO-straw bale
2. Pre-order one on our website (www.sovereignstarts.com/shop) for $10. If you want us to provide a straw bale for you, please order by no later than April 20th.
This class will be held outside with an indoor option in case of inclement weather. There will be a brief lecture followed by question and answering and finishing with conditioning the bales for at home growing. If you choose to bring or purchase a bale, we will provide garabage bags for you to take them home in.
