In an hour-long afternoon program, Orchestra Futures pairs two works of Richard Strauss: the tragic Metamorphosen for 23 solo strings, and the world premiere arrangement of the Cello Sonata for cello and chamber orchestra, featuring virtuoso cellist John-Henry Crawford.
