A tennis pro is approached by a wealthy socialite with a peculiar proposition. He suggests there may be a way the two men who have never met before could help eachother change their living situations - they could trade murders. One would be off with his wife who denies him a divorce, the other an overbearing father. Both seemingly happening randomly and without motivation.
Macabre and darkly funny, STRANGERS ON A TRAIN has Hitchock’s twisted sense of humor on full display. Striking cinematography and devilish wit make this a real treat to watch.
