Deep Purple jsou mnohými považováni za nejinovativnější a nejúspěšnější rockovou kapelu všech dob a zároveň za kapelu nenapodobitelnou. Před 7 lety, ale tato nenapodobitelnost vzala za své když se objevila čistě ženská evropská skupina, která napodobila kouzlo Deep Purple živelným a žensky nespoutaným projevem. Eliana Cargnelutti, leaderka a kytaristka z Udine nedaleko Benátek, přišla s nápadem čistě dámské tribute kapely Deep Purple a měla jasnou představu o hudebnících, které potřebuje, aby proměnila svou zářící vizi v hudební realitu. Tak vznikla energická formace Strange Kind Of Women v obsazení Eliana Corgnelutti na kytaru, vokalistka Ronnie Grace z London, basistka Paola Zadra z Milána, ve Francii žijící hráčka na varhany Hammond Margherita Gruden a skvělá bubenice Chiara Cotugno z Naples.
Skupina Strange Kind of Women (SKOW), jejíž název byl inspirován jednou z nejznámějších písní Deep Purple, debutovala naživo v lednu 2019 a během několika měsíců dostávala mnoho žádostí o vystoupení na celém světě. Brzy přišla největší pocta, když se v roce 2019 se na podiu objevil se SKOW Ian Paice - legendární bubeník Deep Purple a poslední zbývající zakládající člen kapely a poté velmi chválil Strange Kind of Women, když oznámil: "Hrát s nimi je opravdu zábava. Opravdu odvádějí skvělou práci, mají skvělý zvuk a dávají všechno. Opravdu jsem si s nimi užil hraní."
Na koncertech v Praze a Brně nebudou chybět nejslavnější hity Deep Purple jako Child In Time, Smoke On The Water, Strange Kind Of Woman, Highway Star, Space Truckin’, všechny předvedené s bombastickým, dynamickým zvukem, který odpovídá originálu před více než 50 lety. Jejich dvouhodinový set obsahuje další písně z éry Ian Gillan, jako Speed King a Into the Fire a klasické songy z pozdější éry, jako jsou Lay Down Stay Down, Mistreated a elektrizující Burn.

Deep Purple are considered by many to be the most innovative and most successful rock band of all time, as well as a band that cannot be imitated. However, seven years ago this “inimitability” was challenged when an all-female European group appeared, capturing the magic of Deep Purple with a fiery, energetic and distinctly feminine performance. Eliana Cargnelutti, the bandleader and guitarist from Udine near Venice, came up with the idea of a women-only Deep Purple tribute band and had a clear vision of the musicians she needed to turn her shining idea into musical reality. This led to the creation of the powerful lineup of Strange Kind Of Women, featuring Eliana Cargnelutti on guitar, vocalist Ronnie Grace from London, bassist Paola Zadra from Milan, France-based Hammond organ player Margherita Gruden, and outstanding drummer from Naples Chiara Cotugno.
The band Strange Kind of Women (SKOW), whose name was inspired by one of Deep Purple’s most famous songs, made their live debut in January 2019 and within a few months received numerous requests for performances from around the world. Soon came their greatest honor: in 2019 Ian Paice — the legendary Deep Purple drummer and the last remaining founding member — appeared on stage with SKOW and later highly praised them, stating: “Playing with them is really fun. They do a great job, they have a great sound, and they give everything. I really enjoyed playing with them.”
At the concerts in Prague and Brno, the most famous Deep Purple hits will not be missing, such as Child In Time, Smoke On The Water, Strange Kind Of Woman, Highway Star, Space Truckin’ — all performed with the bombastic, dynamic sound that matches the original from more than 50 years ago. Their two-hour set also includes other songs from the Ian Gillan era, such as Speed King and Into the Fire, as well as classic tracks from later eras, including Lay Down Stay Down, Mistreated, and the electrifying Burn.
