Free jazz concert event to celebrate the historic old Strand Theatre which had performances from 1923 to 1965! Some of the greatest legends of the Jazz Age played there- from Ella Fitzgerald to Louis Armstrong Cab Calloway to Duke Ellington! Rock and roll icon James Brown performed in the late '60's! This concert is to bring awareness of this historic theatre in our wonderful city and ask for volunteers to help bring it back to life! Come and have a great time!
