The Straits Thanksgiving Classic is a non-profit open Volleyball tournament hosted in the Labrador Straits (L’Anse Au Loup NL) & Blanc Sablon QC annually on Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. The tournament is a C/C+ level event with both a men’s & women’s division that attracts over 200 athletes from all over Newfoundland & Labrador & parts of Québec/Nova Scotia.
The closest airport for travel is the Blanc Sablon Regional Airport just across the Québec/Labrador border. The most affordable for travelers from out of the region is Deer Lake Regional Airport.
