About this Event
This workshop offers a grounded, science-based conversation about what we actually mean by “trauma”, not as catastrophe or pathology, but as the nervous system’s intelligent adaptation to early life experiences that were less than nurturing, attuned, or safe.
Designed for high-functioning adults, this mid-winter gathering explores why capable people often feel stuck in recurring patterns despite insight, effort, or success. We’ll look at how early adaptations shape adult relationships, work, and emotional life and why lasting change requires more than willpower or positive thinking.
This is an informational, mildly experiential workshop. No one will be asked to disclose personal details or share beyond their comfort level. Participants are invited to listen, reflect, and leave with a clearer understanding of how sustainable, real change actually happens.
We are grateful to Park City Community Church for generously making their space available for this gathering at no cost.
