We are once again delighted in Stradbally Estate to celebrate the Irish Draught horse, courtesy of Thomas Cosby and family. This event is all within the grounds of the estate, with old forest tracks and grassland.The ODE will also have a joint Endurance /ODE Class, with prize money for the joint class.
For more details on the ODE contact Mary Clare on 087-4142729, to make life easy on Mary Clare please state you are doing the joint class in order to get a later dressage time.
IRISH DRAUGHT ONLY ENDURANCE CLASS:
This class will be a trail class with prizes from 1-6 place.
This class will also be part of our Irish Draught league for the year.
Passport must be produced on the day.
PART BRED IRISH DRAUGHT CLASS:
This class will be a trail class with prizes from 1-3 place.
Passport must be produced on the day.
ALL OTHER CLASSES
Distances up to 65km are available for competitive riders and distances of up to 32km will be available for trail riders, you can ride with your buddies even if in different classes.
CR members MUST book in by Monday 22ndof April.
Trail rides are open to both members and no members. This will be run within the estate and is family friendly.
TRAIL ENTRIES will CLOSE on Wednesday 24th of April
PLEASE NOTE : THIS IS AN EARLY START. ALL RIDERS MUST BE IN OFF COURSE BY 1PM TO ALLOW FOR THE CROSS COUNTRY PHASE OF THE ODE TO TAKE PLACE.
