This scenic route blends history, nature, and breathtaking landscapes across Kent's countryside and coastline.
Starting in Sandwich, one of Englandβs best-preserved medieval towns π°, weβll wander through its ancient streets and town walls, rich with maritime history. From here, weβll follow the trail towards the sea π, crossing peaceful marshlands and open countryside πΎ as we make our way to the coast.
Upon reaching the tranquil shores of Shell Ness at Pegwell Bay ποΈ, weβll enjoy the stunning coastal views and unspoiled natural beauty. Our return journey will follow the King Charles III Coastal Path πΏ, offering breathtaking seascapes as we head back to Sandwich.

πΎ Friendly dogs are welcome! Please ensure they're leashed when needed, especially around fields with livestock.
Before hitting the trail, make sure to pack:
π A - Suitable footwear (preferably walking boots or sturdy shoes, no flip-flops)
π§οΈ B - A waterproof coat (and waterproof trousers, if you have them) for rainy days
π§ C - Drinking water and a packed lunch
