Grab the family and join CLT, the Shelton Timberland Library, and Black Hills Audubon Society to kick off the installation of our newest StoryTrail! StoryTrails are a fun and engaging way for families to combine a love of nature and a love of reading.
The StoryTrail will follow pages from Jennifer Ward’s "How to Find A Bird", a children’s book about birding. This book is written for preschool – 3rd grade children, but all can enjoy the vibrant illustrations by Diana Sudyka.
Learn about the joys of birding through bird-themed crafts, bird bingo, and exploring the pages of the story along the trail. A limited number of binoculars will be available to borrow. The StoryTrail is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Can’t make the event? The StoryTrail will be up through the end of August.
