Please note that this event will be held in our third floor studio space. Ticket options include:
- General Admission (free)
- Admission + Book: This ticket is $19.11 and comes with a copy of The Good Night Garage to be signed at the event.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
A rhyming bedtime picture book celebration of everyday heroes and non-traditional working patterns for little vehicle lovers.
It's night-time in the city, so why are seven mighty machines at the Good Night Garage just waking up? Follow each vehicle while they carry out the important night jobs that keep the city running smoothly. Then as the stars fade in the sky, tuck them in and say goodnight.
"A warm and friendly night of busy work under a starry night sky that everyone will fall for." – Kate Beaton, creator of The Princess and the Pony
"The Good Night Garage is truly dreamy and full of wonder through its color, curiosity, play, and charm."– Molly Mendoza, illustrator of Freedom, We Sing
"A beautiful bedtime book that shines a light on all the unsung heroes of the night." – E.K. Mosley, creator of The Last Stardog
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR:
Meg Hunt is an illustrator and maker of things who floats between the city, the forest and the sea. Their work focuses on character and playfulness, weaving line, color, shape, and texture together to create a larger-than-life world for readers to spend time in. Meg’s work mines inspiration from printmaking, old books, travel, nature, weird turns of phrase, kitsch and anything else she gets curious about. Her clients include Chronicle Books, the New York Times, Disney, Adobe and Bloomsbury.
