Welcome to Storytime @ MONAH: We Are Water Protectors!
Come join us on Sat, Apr 26, 2025 at 10:00 AM at MONAH's Event Center for a storybook reading and planting activity! We will be sharing We Are Water Protectors by Carol Lindstrom which tells the story of an Ojibwe girl who fights against an oil pipeline in an effort to protect the water supply of her people.
After we learn about our vital role in protecting our planet's resources, join us in planting some springtime plants! Ones you can take home and care for! We will also teach you how Indigenous people started to farm thousands of years ago!
