We will be in meeting room A to enjoy this story about being thankful. We will read the story, noting how Grace feels before and after each letter she writes.
Afterwards, we will discuss the "ripple effect," with questions such as, “What happens when you do something kind for someone?”
“Can one small act of gratitude spread and inspire others?” This will introduce the idea that thankfulness can cause ripples that reach far beyond the first person.
Following this, we will have the following stations:
🍂 Gratitude Letter Writing, complete with envelopes to mail our letters to loved ones.
🍂 Thankful Tree, where we will trace our hands as "leaves" and write things for which we are appreciative.
🍂 Kindness Rock Painting. We will each paint a rock to later hide within the community. These rocks bring smiles and joy, and are a very small way to share kindness as a tiny community service project.
