We have local author Elysse Wagner and illustrator Mikayla Sharpshair hosting storytime this week for their newest bedtime story, “I Miss You When You Sleep.”“I Miss You When You Sleep" is a poignant children's book that celebrates the love and challenges of motherhood. In a world where sleepless nights with newborns are often looked at as a burden, this bedtime story instead reflects upon a mother's love after her child goes to sleep. Inspired by their rainbow babies and their gratitude for motherhood, Elysse Wagner and Mikayla Sharpshair have partnered again to create an honest and poetic picture book for families to enjoy.
Both Elysse and Mikayla will also be doing a book signing after story time!
