Namita Gandhi, PhD, is an immunologist, scientist, children’s book author, and global advocate for STEM education.

With a career spanning over twenty years in the biotechnology industry, Namita has delved into the study of over a hundred different immune diseases and cancers. This extensive experience has established her as an expert on the immune system’s critical role in overall health.

For her new picture book series, Immune Heroes, Namita uses engaging storytelling to share the wonders of immunology and science with children. Inspired by her nieces’ and nephew’s questions about her professional work, Namita aims to educate children about the remarkable immune system and how it heals and protects our bodies and well-being.
