Get ready to party when NGV Kids on Tour comes to you these school holidays!
Children are invited to explore the natural world through an engaging Storytime with My Nature Book by Olaf Breuning. Please book a ticket for each child attending (no need to book for the accompanying adults.)
Develop observation skills while fostering a deeper understanding of ecology and biodiversity in this special Storytime and craft session in collaboration with the National Gallery of Victoria.
About Olaf Breuning
Olaf Breuning, born in Switzerland in 1970, is a globally exhibited artist known for his playful sculptures, drawings, paintings, videos and photographs. He began his artistic journey at sixteen with a camera gifted by his father and later studied photography.
Now, Breuning lives in the Catskill Mountains near New York with his family, where nature plays a central role in his practice. He gathers wood from nearby forests, carves it into shapes, and uses it to create colourful woodblock prints that explore themes of
the environment. Breuning has exhibited at major institutions including the Palais de Tokyo (Paris), Chisenhale Gallery (London), MoMA (New York), and the Centre Pompidou (Paris). His work was featured in the inaugural NGV Triennial in 2017 and is held in the NGV Collection.
