Hampshire Cultural Trust offers a range of volunteering and job opportunities across high profile venues in the city of Winchester.
This summer we are delighted to be offering FREE workshop opportunities that will help you build the skills, confidence and creativity to interact and communicate with visitors to heritage and cultural attractions.

Participant in June 2024 pilot storytelling workshops.
These workshops will help you draw on your own unique skillset as a communicator – whether in visual, verbal, or other communication methods – to engage visitors in the stories behind our collections. Learn to take your audience on a journey, building a story and capturing their imagination.
We are excited to be working with a facilitator who has delivered workshops at major national cultural venues across the UK. They will help you:
· Tell the right stories well! By participating in an enjoyable and practical workshop, you will learn to create and deliver lively, accurate, personal and experiential interpretive face to face communication with visitors.
· Enhance your preparation and communication of confident and engaging conversations, talks, participatory activities, pop-ups, welcome introductions and answers to questions.
· Develop confidence in sharing your stories, without feeling there is a “right” or “wrong” way in which to communicate.
Dates:
Tuesday 24 September & Wednesday 25 September
Each workshop runs over one day (10am - 4pm)
Participation is FREE, with all refreshments and lunch provided.
