Join French-Irish storyteller Fiona Dowling for a 2-hour introductory workshop into the art of storytelling.
Open to all, whether you see yourself as shy, confident, or anywhere in between. Telling and listening to stories belongs to all of us humans. We do it all the time. This is the brain’s favourite way to learn and process information. When we do it with folktales or personal stories, it can be a beautiful and powerful way to connect, to share wisdom, experience, make someone laugh, wonder, or forget their worries for the time of the story and emerge from it refreshed and resourced.
Fiona will lead storytelling warm-ups, games, and exercises in 2’s or in small groups, to build your confidence and help you find pleasure and your own unique voice when telling stories.
All welcome, no previous experience necessary.

I have been working as a professional storyteller since 2009. I live in the West of Ireland. I am also a visual artist. I am in love with Georgia and am very much looking forward to meeting you!
What language? The workshop will be lead in English, but you are welcome to use Georgian for exercises in pairs or small group.
