STORYTELLING THROUGH AHIMSA AND SATYA - 8LP WORKSHOP SERIES

Have you ever “told your story?” Do you ever doubt that your “story” is worth telling? Worth hearing? What is that force that shrinks your voice? Fear, guilt, false humility?What if your story is essential to the healing of another? To the healing of the collective?

When we come together to bravely share our truths and to hold space for the courageous sharing of others - we begin to heal, we begin to see the essential nature of our own perspective and the way it is bound up with everything and everyone we touch.

Join BEACON YOGA COLLECTIVE and special guest T ANTHONY for an afternoon of exploring the ritual of storytelling as part of your yoga practice. In this 2.5 hour workshop we will dive into the first two Yamas of Patanjali's 8-Limbed Path, Ahimsa (non-violence) and Satya (truthfulness), to activate your voice and cultivate deep listening.

This afternoon of mindful movement, self study, meditation, and, of course, storytelling will invite us to feel connected, seen, and ignited in our yoga practices.
