About this Event
September’s Storytelling @ the Kerouac House will be on Saturday 09/27 from 7-9pm (doors 6:30) and will feature storyteller Katie Green who will share her story, Jesse and the Sweetful Circus. The sixties were fertile ground for change in the U.S. In this true story, Katie Green re-visits her Cleveland experience during those tumultuous times. This story may invite us to look back and ask ourselves what has changed today, how did it change, and what has changed us.
Katie Green has been telling stories and facilitating workshops for over thirty years. She is also a political activist, non-violence trainer, and facilitator for the Alternatives to Violence Project. Katie’s work is recognized by the Florida Storytelling Association, NorthEast Storytellers, and the National Storytelling Network. She believes that storytelling can, and does, change the world. www.katiegreentories.com. [email protected]
