What are the different types of storytelling elements, and how can they be used to effectively promote your specific business?
During this workshop, you will learn:
- storytelling essentials and how to apply them to your brand identity and customer engagement;
- what kinds of stories are useful for small businesses;
- how to script the founding story, customer success stories, product or service evolution, community & social impact stories, behind-the-scenes stories, challenging & overcoming adversity stories, innovation & future vision stories, and collaboration stories;
- how to script your elevator pitch, establish your credibility, demonstrate your understanding of customers' problems, state your solution to their problem, the benefits of your solution, and script your call to action;
- sharing your script across various platforms including social media, your website, email, newsletters, and traditional advertising;
- how to develop sales scripts, customer service scripts, marketing and promotional video scripts, advertising copies, product demos and tutorials, corporate communication scripts, webinar and seminar scripts, interactive voice response (IVR) scripts, chatbot scripts, public relations (PR) scripts, and onboarding scripts; and
- how Alaska SBDC Business Advisors can further help you with all of these!
ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Mike Daniels, Anchorage Business Advisor, Anchorage SBDC. Mike joined the Anchorage Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in March of 2024, bringing with him a rich background in both the arts and entrepreneurship. His extensive experience in theatre, where he developed a deep understanding of creativity, collaboration, and audience engagement, naturally led him to explore the intersections between artistic expression and business. This unique blend of skills and insights into both the creative and business worlds has inspired the subject of his presentation, which focuses on leveraging artistic principles in entrepreneurial endeavors. Mike's journey reflects a lifelong passion for blending the arts with business strategies, offering a unique perspective to the Anchorage SBDC and its clients.
