At this special story time, authors Britt Crow-Miller (founding director of CityWild) and Chris Baker (founder of Chicory Naturalist) present their new books about our planet's decomposers. Britt's World of Rot takes readers on a deep dive into the process of decay, from the science behind it to an up-close and personal look at the organisms that do the dirty work to make our planet livable. Chris's On a Mushroom Day is a lyrical, informational picture book structured around a walk, through a summertime wood, as a child and their caregiver observe and identify different varieties of mushrooms.
