Join us in the museum’s Learning Center for our monthly Museum Story Time program. Aimed at toddler-age children and their grown-ups, we will gather on the first Friday of each month for a music- or Appalachia-related storybook, a tune or two by WBCM Radio Bristol show host Ella Patrick, and a related activity or coloring sheet. This month we will be doing a fun cotton ball bunny craft!
For July we will be reading Cowboy Bunnies written by Christine Loomis and illustrated by Ora Etan.
Cowboy Bunnies
Cowboy bunnies wake at sunrise and off they go, riding their ponies, roping cattle, mending fences, and tossing hay. When evening falls, they gather round the campfire to feast and play their fiddles. But soon cowboy bunnies are rubbing their sleepy eyes, and it's time to head home, where mamas sing sweet lullabies, and papas softly harmonize.
