Finley Finds Her Way is a delightful tale of an American tree frog who’s in search of a different life and discovers who she’s truly meant to be. When Finley escapes her enclosure at the zoo, she discovers she can’t do the things the other animals do, or even worse, that the things they do are even more boring than being a tree frog. When she returns to her enclosure, her mate Foster questions why she would want to be something she’s not, because, in his words, “You’re so good at being YOU!” That evening, Finley wakes to a rumbling in her tummy. She’s both surprised and delighted to have given birth to a clutch of 702 tiny eggs. As she watches them grow, she realizes she wasn’t meant to be a pufferfish or a snake. A giraffe or a peacock. A lion or a cheetah. A monkey or a sloth. A kangaroo or a panda bear. An alligator or a penguin. Finley realizes she was meant to be a MOM.
