Ben St. James is a North Hollywood-based author and illustrator whose award winning book Guinea Pig Power, tells the story of two pets who transform into superheroes by night!
Join us for an author reading by Ben St. James and a literacy workshop led by our reading specialist, Taylor Wilson. The first 15 students will receive a free signed copy of Guinea Pig Power.
About Value Schools
Value Schools is a free, values-based charter school organization serving students and families in Los Angeles. Value Schools serves youth from urban areas from Transitional Kindergarten to 12th Grade, currently at four school sites: Downtown Value School, serving K-8th Grade; Everest Value School, serving K-8th Grade; Central City Value High School, serving 9th-12th Grade; and University Prep Value High School, serving 9th-12 Grade.
