This early literacy series is a themed, one-hour program that includes a half-hour story time and a half-hour of activities, games and crafts related to that session’s theme. The programs are held outside in the Gardens when weather allows, and moved indoors in the event of rain.Story and Stroll for October's theme Pumpkin and Vine Plants!
We will continue to offer a take-home item or activity that is related to the sessions theme. This allows children to express their creativity in new and exciting ways and will also reinforce early literacy concepts introduced during the live programming.
Event details
The cost is $3/child.
This event is geared toward children ages 2-6. Older siblings are welcome to participate, as well.
Admission can be paid at the Garden Gallery before the program begins.
Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the program. Story n Stroll will begin promptly at 10 a.m.
Fees are used to help cover the costs for the activities developed for this program.
Participants are welcome to explore the Gardens before or at the end of the program. No additional Garden admission fee applies.
