Designed for youth, explore the art of performance during this engaging drama workshop led by Pink Flamingo Studios’ Niki Strauss.
Throughout the workshop, participants will explore acting techniques, character development, improvisation and stage presence, while building confidence, creativity and performance skills — all within a supportive and inspiring environment.
In the new solo workshop, participants will use a chosen song to delve into specific character, dynamic and techniques.
Beginning with an initial sing-through to the group, chosen songs will then be worked on individually, one by one in a supportive small group setting. Participants will gain both valuable vocal and teaching techniques from the day.
Niki is a seasoned vocal coach with extensive stage experience, —including roles in 𝐿𝑒𝑠 𝑀𝑖𝑠é𝑟𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑠, 𝐶ℎ𝑖𝑐𝑎𝑔𝑜 and 𝐾𝑖𝑛𝑘𝑦 𝐵𝑜𝑜𝑡𝑠. With a rich performance background, Niki is passionate about nurturing the next generation of performers and helping them to discover their place on stage.

Please bring along your own lunch, snacks and a drink bottle. There are water refill stations available in the venue.
